The CopperEgg collector running on your server only initiates outbound traffic. It does not respond to any incoming requests.

The collector determines which internet addresses to use by way of DNS.

It initiates connections to servers in these domains:

api.copperegg.com

fastapi.copperegg.com

app.copperegg.com

SO … your collectors must be able to contact a DNS server (port 53, typically this is inside your firewall) , and must be able to access the above domains using ports 80 and 443.

Additionally, CopperEgg uses these domains for updates to the Collector / Agent:

     cdn.copperegg.com

s3.amazonaws.com

Thats all there is to know about CopperEgg collectors and open ports!
